I biked to Jay Woods in mid-April and took these top two photos with my phone, intending to come back later to get a better picture of the area on the left with my fancycamera, but was thwarted by some forestry work.

After the best class in the world, Local Spring Flora at the Chicago Botanic Garden (every Wednesday!), a nap at the garden before the bike ride home is the only clear choice.
